Empowering kids to take on the role of a super spy, the spy video car is every kid’s dream come true including mine. Imagine being able to maneuver around corners viewed through a head up display. This immersive experience gives them the upper hand in spying.
Spy Gear, a brand of Wild Planet Toys, has successful product offerings from low to mid price range in their line up. As head designer for the spy line, the task was to come up with a product that will bring Spy Gear into a higher price point category.
In 2007, the Spy Video Car was awarded first place at the Toy Industry Association for the Best Boys Toy category. It was the first technology driven product to break into radio controlled category at an affordable price. The idea behind this product was simple, create the ultimate spy experience.
